The Shorter Mansion

The Shorter Mansion, one of Eufaula's most opulent homes, was constructed in 1884. After a fire,an extensive renovation was completed in 1906 by Eli Sims Shorter II and his wife, Wileyna Lamar Shorter. Named to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, the mansion is located in the Seth Lore and Irwinton Historic District of Eufaula.
The Shorter Mansion offers 9,000 square feet of indoor space. The mansion has 2 dining rooms and 2 parlors, a library, a sun room, and a dedicated event space for your guests. Upstairs there is a large bedroom and bath for the bridal party to use for dressing.
