The two parlors in the Shorter Manson are well known for entertaining and holding many parties and weddings. The ornate framework of each mirror features a face in the center. These two rooms are used for cakes, tables for guests or the space to hold an intimate group of 60 for a wedding. Cut-glass chandeliers hang in each parlor. The sliding glass doors are beveled and used to provide privacy between the parlor and the dining room. The doors can also be shut and opened once the wedding has ended to invite the guests to the reception food on the dining room table.
